Hotels We Visited In Denver’s Cherry Creek in 2024

Hey everyone! I’d like to talk about my recent ventures into some of Denver’s most impressive hotels!

Buckle up for some cozy chats about Moxy Denver’s modern vibe, the luxurious indulgence at Hotel Clio, the urban sanctuary of Halcyon, and the unique atmosphere of Clayton Hotel & Members Club.

Trust me, it’s a journey you won’t want to miss! So, grab your favorite drink and let’s spill the tea on Denver’s coolest stays! ☕🏨✨

4. Moxy Denver

Moxy offers a playful hotel experience for the young at heart. With over 125 properties open across 25 countries and territories, Moxy boldly breaks the rules of a conventional hotel stay across the globe.

Moxy Denver

Husband’s Opinion: Visiting Moxy Denver with my husband was a mixed bag. He loved the modern vibe and the location was perfect for exploring downtown. The room however felt a bit cramped for his taste. And I wholeheartedly agree with that!

This was our first stay at a Moxy and we both love the concept! Rebecca at check-in was fantastic and explained everything well.

The bar was a ton of fun with the games all around and the room—while intentionally small—was fine for a couple! Love to return here next time in the area!

Denver is full of fun things you can do on a daily basis, you will never be bored if you’re an adventure enthusiast.

3. Hotel Clio

We were taken aback by the high prices of the on-site dining options, which, while delicious, were a bit more than we had budgeted for.

This slight downside didn’t detract from the overall excellence of our stay, but it’s something we’d plan for differently next time.

2. Halcyon

Halcyon hotel

Husband’s Opinion: Halcyon was a retreat; the rooftop pool was a highlight, despite some issues with noise at night.

Our stay at Halcyon felt like an urban sanctuary, especially with its rooftop pool offering panoramic views and a serene escape from the city’s hustle.

Halcyon is the ultimate non-hotel situated in the heart of Denver’s Cherry Creek North neighborhood. Our 154 luxury hotel rooms and suites blur the lines between hotel and gracious home with considered comfort, attention to detail, and an impressive collection of art.

I definitely agree that the pool area was definitely the crown jewel of our visit. The nighttime brought a different vibe, with noise levels from either the streets or the hotel itself occasionally disrupting the tranquility.

Oh well, the charm and amenities of Halcyon provided a memorable and relaxing experience.

How much is the resort fee at Halcyon?

Halcyon Hotel – Blur The Lines Between Hotel & Gracious Home $35 Halcyon charges a daily Destination Amenity Fee of $35 plus tax per room, per day.

This fee is posted to each guest room in order to provide our guests with an excellent selection of amenities and services to further their Denver experience.

1. Clayton Hotel & Members Club

Husband’s Opinion: Clayton Hotel & Members Club stood out for its unique décor and members’ club atmosphere, but we wished for more casual dining options within the hotel.

The Clayton Hotel & Members Club caught our attention with its standout decor and exclusive club-like ambiance, offering a sophisticated and cozy atmosphere.

During our stay, we found ourselves wishing for more laid-back dining options within the hotel.

The existing restaurants, while exquisite, seemed more suited for formal occasions rather than casual meals, which would have added to the convenience and overall experience of our visit.

Summary

When it comes to exploring Denver’s hotels, there are some standout options that offer unique experiences for visitors. First up is Moxy Denver, which is perfect for those looking for a modern and fun atmosphere. The only downside? The rooms can feel a bit cramped.

If luxury and attentive service are what you’re after, Hotel Clio is the way to go. Just be prepared for some pricey dining options.

For those seeking a rooftop pool and an urban sanctuary vibe, Halcyon is the place to be. However, it can get a bit noisy at night, so light sleepers beware.

And finally, Clayton Hotel & Members Club offers a unique décor and exclusive feel that’s hard to beat. The only drawback? A lack of casual dining options.

These hotels are great, but they’re not super close to airports. Still, we’ve checked out those airport hotels for you, so you can book a room without worrying about what you’ll get.

Overall, each of these hotels has its own strengths and minor drawbacks, but they all offer valuable experiences for visitors to Denver. Whether you’re looking for modern and fun or luxury and exclusivity, there’s something for everyone in this vibrant city.
